Meet the Staff
Sean Hallihan II, MPT, CLT
Director of Physical Therapy
My name is Sean Hallihan II, I graduated from American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts in 2007. Springfield was my home for 23 years before moving to Boston, Massachusetts where I was pursuing my dream of working with athletes at Harvard University. After the football season, I accepted a job in Naples, fL where I have spent and enjoyed the last 16 years of my professional career. In 2011 I was promoted center coordinator of clinical education and in 2014 I was awarded physical therapist of the year. I am currently the Director of Physical Therapy at Ideal Physical Therapy and look forward to growing personally and professionally with Ideal.
I was introduced to physical therapy after rupturing my hamstring playing ice hockey. An injury, which at the time was devastating, lead me to the profession I wake up to enjoy every morning. I truly believe that physical therapy chose me. This profession has provided me with an opportunity to help thousands of people, rewarded me with personal satisfaction in my job and an outlet to give back to the community. I approach my daily challenges with an optimistic energy, a strong work ethic and realistic expectations.
Nothing is more important than your health. It is my responsibility to motivate, educate and give my honest opinion. My Philosophy has always been that “if you invest in your patients they will in return invest in themselves.” This approach has made people feel comfortable, trust in the process and ultimately achieve their goals. Acquiring knowledge to share with others has been a highlight of my career. I have been a certified clinical instructor since 2010, became a certified lymphedema therapist in 2015, LSVT BIG certified in 2016 and a vestibular rehab specialist in 2017. When I am not treating patients, I enjoy spending time with my wife of 13 years and two dogs, playing pickle ball, scuba diving and traveling the world. We have travelled to 37 different countries seeking adventure and immersing ourselves in other peoples culture. I am thankful for the opportunity to work with the best team in the industry and hope that Ideal Physical Therapy is the first place you think of for all your rehab needs.
Stephen Peace
Physical Therapy Assistant
Stephen is a native Floridian born in West Palm Beach. Stephen is an extremely family oriented individual; after spending 2 years in California working as the Site Supervisor of an outpatient physical therapy clinic, Stephen is more than ready to move back to Florida to be closer to friends and family. Growing up in South Florida, Stephen did all the usual things Floridians do. He loved being outdoors playing sports, fishing, or just spending quality time with friends.
Stephen was involved in a serious car accident which required him to undergo some fairly extensive physical therapy. During this process, Stephen found his passion for helping people recover from injuries and decided he wanted to make a life-long career in doing so. After rehabilitating, he enrolled in South University’s Physical Therapy Assisting program in Royal Palm Beach, FL. Stephen Graduated in 2011 and has thrived working as a Physical Therapy Assistant ever since. Stephen plans to bring a positive, optimistic energy to Ideal Physical Therapy day in and day out. He takes a hands-on approach to physical therapy and is prolific in manual treatment and therapeutic exercise. He has extensive experience with geriatric patients and has the ability and knowledge to help with whatever physical demand is needed.
